This is my 2nd Seafoam treatment on my cavalier. I did one to it yesterday but nothing happened. So I decided to try it again today and i'll let the vid do the talking. This was done through the brake booster line.

Yeah it went down right after I watched it.

Runs a lil bit better seems like it's got a lil bit of it's power back.

I bet your neighbors love you
no one was home actually so no one really got to see anything or hear anything for that matter. Another reason i did it when I did.

Seafoam is one additive product that ISNT garbage. It actually covers most all of its claimed cleaning areas. If done properly, your car will blow smoke like a bastard for a solid 5-10 minutes and then you'll notice small gains. With all the carbon buildup gone you'll notice a smoother idle, a bit quicker pick-up and a bit better of a pull.
The only downside is that I've noticed its not too nice to our fuel pressure regulators. It ate the diaphragm out of mine and washed out my throttle body, but that was last year (2007) and the Cav is a 1999. So, that being said it was an original part anyways.
If you car sputters, bogs out and runs like crap/not at all afterwards and has ample spark, fuel pressure and compression.. double check the regulator. Thats if you do run into that problem. More then likely though, all you'll notice is gains, no downside.
I recommend Seafoam to everyone.
what is that thing that says, testing... system ready

its probably his radar detector.
When i ran seafoam through my engine i had neighbors running out of their house because my car was in the garage and they thought it was catching on fire so the fire dept paid me a visit!

I thought you had to pour it into the motor while it was running?
You pour it in while its running shut it off and let it sit for a lil while then fire the car back up.

Just picked up a can for $5.99,directions say basically what 01Cav says but re-start the engine after 5min.You can add this to your crankcase(oil),gas tank, injection or carburetor. If you go thru a vacuum line(brake booster)you only use 1/3 pint.If using in your fuel tank,1 pint treats 8-25 gallons
