How long did the whole process take you? Have any problems? How much did it set ya back? And finally, how much is the difference? The drums on mine look like they might be the originals, its got almost 100,000 miles, and i want to replace them. Is this worth my time and money? Looks great!

Looks good, but I fear you're going to want to upgrade in the future.

Thanks everybody Yeah I had a feeling at some of the car shows ive done this year judges saw all the work done to the car, yet they look at my front brakes, then the rear and frown upon it..

All in all, I have a little less than 300 bucks in this swap.. 227 for the kit, 61 bucks for the rotors from Ebay.. And like 27 for the shoes.. I got the calipers from the junkyard, but I had to get a brand new right one because the bleeder screw stripped out... Ok, now that I think about, I have a little more than 300 in it lol.

The swap took about a week because of the grinding and cutting of everything. These rear disk are 10.5". They do look small though huh? Oh well, a BIG step up from drums.. I have yet to get it on the road.. Waitin on Trey so we can bleed these babies...

Brad, yes abs still works.. Whats left for the car? Well, not sure yet.. I know I got to get it to track before the end of Oct to see what she can do.. Also, im in the process of swapping out my gauges for black ones...I also have all the 2.3 oil pump parts for that swap. Kinda going more of performance for 08 season. We'll see.

Looks pretty good, but why does that rear suspension setup look a little funky to me?

Are you talking about the rear brake setup itsself?

Nick, you here in town? If so man, lemme know.. Im off of work at 4 everyday..

Me and Trey took it for a spin, there's some rubbing coming from the brakes.. The shoes need to be adjusted some more.. But the brake pedal is mushy.. Gotta bleed the brakes again.

About what you just did,Are the Brackets from the neon the same as this the reason I ask is because I can't see spending $277 when you can go to the junk yard find a new get the brackets etc clean them up get some $19 new Calipers and some $23 dollar pads and be done and not have to pay $300 .

Also what year was it thought the sunfires had disc brakes I've been told 1996 but think they are full of @!#$ because I didn't think the J-bodys had discs ever
