Well everything is definitly going slow this year, but at least its getting done. I've got most of the interior together now, the car runs again, and the exterior just needs some finishing touches. I got some exhaust put on yesterday, because my cat was plugged so I figured it would be a good time to do the whole thing. I did 2.25 with a camaro stlye muffler and oval tips. Theres no cat, which made a huge difference in raspiness. I'm definitly gonna need a resonator. Anyways, here are some pics the way it sits now. Hopefully everything will be coming to an end soon. lol
here is the new door panels. I dyed the armrests and covered the top parts in new vinyl. I also re-sprayed them with the same paint I used for the exterior. They didn't turn out as good as I had hoped, but they will still look pretty good when I get the carpet peices for the bottom and put the handle covers back on.
here are some more pics of the new painted stuff. I'm still missing some of the little peices, but at least the main dash is back together. I dyed the top dashpad black like the armrests.
this is an ok shot of the exhaust. its nothing special really. I went with simple tips, because I want to switch to a stock 03 rear end soon, and I think these will look really good with that. BTW, the picture makes it look a little more crooked then it really is.
just some shots of the exterior. I still need to buff it. After starting wetsanding the trunk lid, I think I won't be able to get a perfect finish. I'm fairly sure all the dust and stuff will come out, but it looks like there will still be a little orange peel. Oh well, theres always next year.
heres my new box for this year. I was originally going to paint it, but after sprayin a little in one corner I realized there was a ton more work to do. I'm just going to wrap it in vinyl now. It sits all the way in the back of the trunk, so I will have lots of room for my bottle and carrying stuff.
well thats all for now. Hopefully I can get everything cleaned up soon so I can enjoy it for a while this summer and make it down to the bash. Can't wait to meet everybody there.

thanks. they are the aplus performance seats. I actually want to go back to the stock seats covered in leather, but I don't have the cash right now.

the work really isn't that great. lol. I try but I'm still learning everything. The box isn't really loud, but its a lot more clear then the last one I made. I think the exhaust looks funny because of the aggressive lip. After I swap rear ends I think it will fit nicely though. Either way, new tips are pretty inexpensive.

auto pros did it. That shop on the right side of 41 on the way out of town. He did the whole thing for 250, so thats not bad. Do you still have that buffer by chance? lol
