This is how I spent my sunday! We had great seats, I was covered in rubber by the end of the day but it was wellllllllll worth it! I had a blast!
The funny cars have an estimated 750hp per cylinder, thats more than any one Nascar. Thats a grand total of 6000hp! No wonder why they have to be rebuilt after each run! The catch is they only have 75 minutes to do it and they have to use the same chassis everyrun for the day. At least they get a police escort back to the pits!

yeah, it took a while...
1. go thru 400+ pics
2. figure out which ones I really liked
3. do some cropping and editing (after posting I realized I missed a bunch of editing)
4. upload them, thank god you can upload 20 at a time on photobucket
5. comment on photobucket
6. copy and paste to the thread twice cause the first time I was almost done IE performed an illegal action (how convenient)
Yeah, it took a couple hours

We get there before any cars took off, she is situating her seat during a burnout. Loud? yea, but she expected it. She is still fiddling with her seat... They stage.... still fiddling....

My parents went on Friday to see them race at night. She showed me some video, insane! I wish I could have gotten some shots of the flames shooting 4-5ft in the air!
