Some new pictures.
Tuesday, April 17, 2007 11:35 AM
Seems most of these are of my girlfriend's car since she was taking the pictures. But she's also the one that's got her new wheels on. I'd say these are due to spring being here, but it snowed a little last night so screw that. Anyway, on with the show.

Should have my new wheels and tires arriving end of this week or next week some time, than there will be some new pictures yet again.

I would do away with the mud flaps if it were me. The rims look good on it.

I think that's a great idea and told her so, but from what she's said she doesn't want to go that far. As for me, it is in the cards. But in order for me to do so I need to look around and find out what I can get that will be about 1.5" drop, just something mild. But I'll still need to be able to up the ride height as much as possible for winters around here. Wouldn't have made it anywhere some days if I was lowered. Get up to go to work and find just over a foot of snow on the roads

There will be no swapping allowed. I like my front!

I agree, she likes the mudflaps there though. Rims look even better in person.

Yeah but too many hoses, and the tank would take up too much room in my grocery getter

Yep! When we go for groceries we usually end up getting the trunk full as well as a few more bags on the back seat. We don't have a decent grocery store in this tiny village where I live

Alright, so I finally got my wheels delivered and mounted. Here are the new pictures.

I realize it needs to be dropped, and it will be. But that's a few notches down on my list of things to do.

You both need to get your calipers and drums painted. It annoys the heck out of me when people have nice wheels and rusty, crappy looking brakes .

Besides that, very nice looking Sunfires .

A drop you might want to look into is the Eibach Pro Kit springs (1.4" drop) and KYB AGX adjustable struts. I just got this setup installed on my car this past weekend and I couldn't be happier with it. It's low enough to look and handle great, but it rides very close to stock and is not so low that you will be scraping the underside of the car on everything you drive over. Just my .02 though .

Go with H&R springs, I have had them on my car for 4 years with no problems. Great ride, nice look, and I have to hit a MAJOR pothole to bottom out. If you look in my profile I am in the Vail area in Colorado, so trust me when I say I made the right choice. But you don't have to take my word for it, although you should by the way I am also running 3" exhaust, if that tells you anything.

Thanks for the suggestions, I'll definitely look into them and get something put on as soon as I'm able.
