Maybe i should have bought a sunfire....
Sunday, April 15, 2007 9:44 PM
Well i installed my sunfire center console yesterday and was thinking i needed a shift boot. So i asked the girlie to help/make it for me. Didnt turn out too bad for her first attempt. I need to do some painting to tie the black in with the gauge bezel. When i took the pix it wasnt quite finished we just wanted to test fit it.

Oh and BTW i love my sunfire center console After i lost my cig lighter i was lost trying to charge my phone.

And yea yea yea i need to clean my interior. I wish i would noticed that the cup holder was used as a ashtray as i found a awesome condition console at the junkyard yesterday and woulda picked it up had i not already had one. Im prolly gonna paint my cup holder piece black to tie it in.

Was also thinking about dying my knob black with vyinl dye but not sure how it will hold up.

Not bad. Maybe you can find one of the ash trays that fit into the cupholder to help give it a cleaner look. Boot looks really nice. I've been wanting to make a new one for mine.

Hmm I would of takin' then one from the dash bezel and cut a hole for it in the console on the side like some 2000+ LS's have. I kinda miss my old sunfire interior, but I'm not fillin' the shifter boot.
