Cavy no more.

Hey guys,
well after 11 years with the cavy, she got a new owner today. She's like new, running strong in n/a forum with only 88k km on the motor, and ~215km on body after all this time. Couple of picks of her in her prime, and a pic of something i got out of the deal. And yes, still a j for the winter From a stock 95 2.2l, to a turbo 2.2l, to a 2001 0b2 2.4l engine/tranny/pcm/wiring swap (first jbody to do so), then gm s/ced, and back.

New beater

lol.. the sunfire is that i got i the deal is going to be my winter beater.

Yes, it was sad to see the cavy go since we have such a history, but i was able to get something newer that i really wanted. And now that i'm making more money then say 11 years ago..lol.. i can finally afford it.

BTW I loved those multispoke wheels you last had on the Cavi....who makes those?

Your cav will always be one of my all-time favs. Its been around since as long as I've been on the site.

Nate, moving on. That's a good thing. Your car always was and is one of my favorites. No need for flashy graphics or paint, just clean.

Your help is the reason I have a homemade turbo kit at all (although it has been in a box in the garage for 3 years now).

Good luck moving on.

Are those Enkie RPM2's on the cavy? I thought they wouldn't fit. Had em on my 350z, but I thought the offset wasnt right for them on the cavy's.
I dunno, it's been awhile since I checked on it....

Thanks guys.

Yes the rims are Enkei RPM2's in black chrome. The offset was 32+ i believe, and they fit just fine. Never rubbed with drop.

Thanks for the nice comment, and yes, i would like to think i did some amazing work when i had her, and always kept her looking good. I drove her everyday, rain, shine (and some snow), and enjoyed every minute of it.

Will post up new car when later on. And its definitely no STI or evo.. lol..i'm not made of money.
