After looking for quite awhile I finally found a set of visors/screens that Would fit neatly into the Vert. (visors are different then a coupe or sedan). Had to be short enough to not to get in the way of the handle that lowers/raises the top. And had to be narrow enough to not look out of place. Found these and they where only 1/4" longer and 1/8" wider then stock.
16:9 Widesrceen w/out speakers.
BUT , I didn't like the basic hard plastic , looks stuck on look. So I took them apart.
Didn't like the generic pivot.... So I took the threaded insert out and drilled a 5/8" hole in my factory ones and popped the insert into them.
Scribed some lines about the thickness of the vinyl I was going to use. Filed and ground off material so I could wrap the vinyl over the edges and still have a nice tight edge everywhere.

Wrapped and trimmed (I like to use spray on vinyl top adhesive). And put everything back together.

Test and install...

Yes I did both of them...

And the backs(there pretty flat, pretty basic).
I thought the rear seat tonneau cover was hard to do. Maybe just because it was so hard to work one large piece of vinyl by myself. If your not familiar with the cover...

as always gary..

GOT ECOTEC?
Your work is simply amazing.
I really like that! I wish I had time to finish mine right now. I Bought some 8 inch ones off ebay, and installed them for a while but i\didn't like the look, so I took mine apart and glassed my original visors, then cut out the cardboard insides and made everything fit into the originals along with the original mount and everything. I've almost inished the passener side, just need to finish sanding and then paint it, and I still have to finish glassing the driver's side. I think it'll give it a nice stock look to it though. I can post a few pics if anyone would like.
LOVE YOUR WORK MAN!
Gary, man you should open up your own custom car shop, and you do all the work lol..
Love it man.
