What not to do with a lowered sunfire...
Friday, January 19, 2007 2:23 PM
Well was on my way to my friend's house on a nice snowy day in Ohio, when I hit my brakes and did a complete 360...

Lucky for me I had my Triple A card on me. 1 hour later they came, put a strap around my front passenger side tire and yanked me.
All good, but had to get a full alignment the next day...stupid Ohio
Oh yea..see that telephone pole in the last pic? I was heading right for that but luckily I kept on spinnging.

Here in Missouri we lately have not been use to snow and ice. The last 3 winters combined we maybe had 6inch of snow. But so far this winter it has been crazy. I know we have acumulated over 2ft in snow since the end of December. And just had a really bad ice storm that lasted for 3 days. There is probably half a foot of ice on the roads, yards, and driveways. I have gotten stuck 3 times so far in the middle of the road because it is so slick. But luckily I know how to drive well enough in this stuff to where I have yet wrecked my car. *Knock on wood!*

Yea...I'm pretty much an idiot for letting this happen. Was looking down, looked up and thought to myself "oh there's his house" *hit brake..slide on ice. Plus I was going way to fast, speed limit but still way to fast for ice and no, no body damage, thank God, I probably would've cried cause I wanna buy a new hood, not new bumpers, lol.

You could of made it out of there, I mean c'mon.. it's a J-body. I pass SUVs on the highway in my lowered '99 with good snows on it. Very stable, very snow-worthy.

A little kitty litter and a couple 2x4s to get you through that rut and you'd be driving around again, haha. I love doing acts of stupid without consequence, mind you, doesn't happen often, but it's always good to keep the heart rate going.

done that many times, unfortunatly the 03-05 sunfire bumpers are made of plastic as thick as paper, and the lower parts shatter right off
