i just got my gauges and pod. Lotek makes a nice product
color match to the gray is perfect and it even has the texture to match
i went with Sport Comp II they match the factory gauge as close as i can get, my plan is to leave the car stock looking
i want what it should have been if it were to be a factory option, '05 cavalier sport coupe SS
on with the pics
Hahn Racecraft Stage II......................coming summer '07........................
lets see installed pics
My car may run 18s, but I can do your taxes in 10 seconds flat.
JBO lube - they would never have enough in stock and we'd never see RodimusPrime again
Yep... I concure! Install that bish NOW!
very nice. does the pillar match up to the rest of the interior good?
I want to share something with you - the three sentences that will get you through life. Number one, 'cover for me', Number two, 'oh, good idea, boss', Number three, 'it was like that when I got here.'

Probably because you have no mods to require and aftermarket guages.

if he is going boost the tne pyrometer is to measure his egt so he knows if his motor is going through hell.
gauges look nice, where did you order them through?
i finally got around to installing the gauges. i only hooked up the oil pressure for now.
all the gauges are hooked up to the parking lights. i'll get some night pics later.
these pics are with the car running......is my oil pressure, ok ? 30-35 psi hot idle
getting ready for Hahn Stage II................GO COLTS !!!!!

I'm not dissing you personally, but every thread I have seen on here about people getting turbo's or superchargers, they always start it out with gauges and stuff, which are important, but if you don't actually have boost why the hell do you have the gauges already installed?
Why don't you guys just wait until you have all of the parts to make the boost before getting the boost gauges? To me, that's like wiping your butt before you take a crap.

well i agree with the above post, and i am one. the but they way i looked at it, i rather be able to see what is going on rather, than either just seeing what happens till i can afford gauges, or the other side of the argument. having the turbo ready and waiting on the next paycheck before you start the car if you are causous like me...in any case... paint needles on your stock cluster orange to match, i did the same, looks so much better....
i kinda agree with ling- boost it, then get the stuff to measure and track it
but it does look good!
i installed the gauges now because i want to monitor base line.
-oil pressure- i wanted to know what i have now
-pyrometer- this will tell me what the engine runs at now. then when i do go turbo
adjustments can be made around what the engine was before turbo (base line)
-boost- why install two then take it apart to hook up one more, put it all in at one time !!
this is not my first project
I think once you actually start getting into boost---popping the pillar out to install the gauge will be the least of your worries...
