Fresh out of the Paint room
Thursday, January 18, 2007 5:11 AM
Just got her out a day or so ago, painted the whole interior a dark gunmetal with metalic., did the center of the dash and console lime green with the blue pearl in it. Got the new steering wheel in, put the digital gauges in, got the rear view mirror in, new flip out radio which is touch screen by the way, and got the new gauges in.

I still have to install the seats (4), seat belts, and bolt the center console in, and dash, and also make a switch panel
NOTICE THE CAR IS FILTHY!
the drop will be in here in the next couple days. ill keep every1 posted!

Hmm don't take this wrong, but the car just looks hacked now in the interior. The top dash look wavy in a lot of spots from the light above it. Just doen'st flow at all to me anymore. Maybe once seats and other things are in it might look better.

Hmmm and you still kept that square, non flowing center console? Other than that, looks good.

not feeling it at all. the gauges dont look good with the stock cluster then the 3 digital gauges. the colors dont seem to flow that great, i like the old interior w/ the air brushing. i have to to agree w/ the square console it just looks weird

so how soon till you scrap this and start over?

My car may run 18s, but I can do your taxes in 10 seconds flat.
JBO lube - they would never have enough in stock and we'd never see RodimusPrime again

That steering wheel looks soooo sooo outta place it isn't even funny. Alot of the glassing work inside looks not even smooth when the light is reflecting off the paint along the drive side door. Around the gauge cluster looks like hell... cuts off the top portion of the gauges.

Going to be quite honest, I'm not feeling it man. However, to each their own.

Criticism, criticism... I can't wait to see it with the seats in for a good judgement. Looking good so far I think.

hummm...

I love the green, I'm just not so sure on the gunmetal choice.

the green is so light and crazy, then the gunmetal is just too blah for your car i think man.

I wanna see those seats installed, it will change the whole look completely!

Keep it up buddy

loving every thing but that center console, gotta wait till i see it with the seats installed, right now it just looks outta place. Only other thing that i would change would have been having some sort cloth/material on the ex door panels the look to plain as they are now.

iv personally experienced the amount of work it takes to fiberglass pannels and mold guages... let me just say that it is unbelievably harder than it looks.
with this said, i must give you props on ur creativity and patients.. but on the other hand its the little things that go the farthest, u really should have took
the time and gone over the entire interior to make it smoother, i agree with the comments on the center console, should have had more curves to match
the dash. all these posts are full of "should haves" and its a little too late for those, but definately take these comments into consideration on future projects.
overall its style doesnt have the wow factor i think u were looking for but its for sure an eye catcher... keep the pics rolling im intereted in seein the complete
ride, u should throw some front shots up

SOLD....

actually now that i look at it more, its not all that wavy... still some details that should have been touched a little more tho

SOLD....

it really isnt wavy, all the waves that are their are for a reason, the dash has a lot of shape to it, how things butt up, almost have to see it in person to see what im talking about!

Has everyone forgot about his crappy work already? Click here to find out what his work really looks like.

Assuming this was made the same way as my bezel im suprised it didnt crack and fall apart taking pictures of it. Learn how to do fiberglass work then post pix. Your car is complete crap all the work is half assed... there is no way in hell that you are able to do quality work in the time between updates you show us.
