well i've been in talks with a friend in my car club about buying his old 96 sunfire se from him for a project car. we finely had a chance to go get it yesterday and finish the deal. snapped some pics this morning since by the time i was done driving around last nite with the picking the car up and everything it was past midnite (and i started at 8am
).
and what my cavi looked like after 10 hours and over 600 miles of driving around the state after a snow storm the day before...
i also got a pint of black paint, 1.6 roller rockers, and a 3 speed shift kit with it. all for $800. these are the only pics i'll be posting until spring. it's going to sit in my parents garage until the snow somewhat melts and then it's going into my uncles storage shed until spring. then it'll be pulled out and beginning plans are 00-02 cavalier front end swap with my c/f blister hood and gut the interior and deadmat it. then work on a enclosure for the trunk and back seat area. finally swaping over anything i can from the cavi. after that it'll depend on the cash flow.

sunfire is in better shape, has less miles on it, and has the performance part done to it that i'm too cheap to do to the cav. plus i like the sunfires interior better and have wanted to do a cav/fire (sunfire with a cavalier front) for awhile now.

00-02 cavalier front end swap will take care of that. but just for you i'll wrap some electrical tape around the hood to make it look like evil eyes. lol.
