Shippensburg J's at the track

Saturday we made a trip down to Mason Dixon Dragway for one of their Test n Tune events. This was my first time at the track and I had no idea what to expect. I had a blast even though my times sucked hardcore. My 60' times were bad, mainly because I couldn't get traction and the car bogged down right off the line. Right now I'm kicking myself for buying an auto. The top of 3rd gear sucks so bad. The speedo would just crawl from 70 to 90. I'm planning on going back next Saturday after I install my shiftplus and remove some of the interior. I'd really like to break into the 14s. The temperature was about 70 degrees and was pretty humid. I saw a constant 9psi on all three of my runs. I just couldn't believe how slow my car ran. My times were 15.77, 15.421, and 15.438. Thats pretty bad for a supercharged eco. Oh well, it was fun being one of the slowest cars there. All of the other cars there were 10-11 second muscle cars with giant slicks. There were a few Lexus IS300s running 12s and some civics running 10s.

Here are a few pics from the drive down

Here's the video of our runs. You can see my car bog down on my first run. It fell flat on its face for like half a second and then it went.

Feel free to point and laugh.

Yeah something must be wrong. I have a N/A eco with intake, exhaust, HP Tuners, suspension and im running a 15.3. Something just doesnt seem right for you being supercharged. Im not bashing you just saying that something isnt running right with your car. Now to fix it i think you should send the sc to me so i can try it on my car to see if it helps on my car instead of yours. Dont worry ill send it back, and ill keep in GREAT contact via email. Just ship it to my friends house though

Yep, Manta is right. Both of my cars are auto. I'm not sure where you guys got the idea that I had a 5 speed.

I haven't had a chance try your idea yet, its been raining non stop here. Its supposed to stop later this week, so I'll definitely give it a try then.
