ignorant means not knowing, lacking knowledge or information.... by being rude or mean or attacking, you are not being ignorant.... if he were to say "your cavalier is a completely unreliable piece of junk" would be ignorant in the sense that he does not own, nor drive that car, so he would never be able to say that statement with confidence.... but to say that the second and 3rd place cars that were up to be judged do not hold a candle to the car that got 1st place is not ignorant.... it is an opinion in taste.... im done
