Ok my friend Nigel came home for the weekend and we built a custom air intake for my S/C out of some 2.5" bends we had leftover from my exhaust. I plan to redo it with 3" pipe later but this will deff work for now.
Nigel is doing a write up right now and he said he will post it here before the end of the week so anyone that wants to build one can PM me or wait for the write up. He is majoring in journalism so you can bet that the write up will be well writen.
on with the pics

optimas are longer that oem style so id say thats why he used the oem style, so it would fit
.
Wow that does look sweet. You tryna make more of those Intake mods... I know someone who would love to have a polished one for the right price.
Why is it not fully welded around the cat? Shouldn't the top be welded up also? Looks good none the less.
nice setup
must be nice in performance

s1lver_N1p - the redtop died on me so it out to be charged
Dave (2 UNIQ) - ^^ soon enough just hold your horses!
USJDM.....GOT YA B!TCH!- i might do something havent decided yet
John H [Cavalierkid] - thanks. i have the pacesetter header and then a 2.5 flare right off the header all the way back
Phlatcav - thanks also. but actully i also raised the battery up so it sits abouve my clutch linkage i will have pics very soon. so the red top will actully fit.
ZombieBenji - thanks man i would be willing to make one for ya but i have so many thigs going on right now i cant sorry but if i can get some free time i will knock a few out and sell them for a decent price
Rusty (The Rusted One) - your seeing the heat sheild but good eye. its fully welded and pressure tested everywhere.
BlueDeuce (dnt02cavls) - thansk bro. it runs great with the exhaust and if feels like i picked up alot of power with the intake, i can also actully hear my S/C again over the exhaust
alias1429 (now with Ecotec) - trust me you dont want my other one. i would give it to you if you wanted it but you dont. it was my old AEM CAI cut short and mated with a pep boys flex pipe. i know i know its dumb but it was olny temp
