My buddy Steve's, hes had it running for two years now, hes not on the forums here. For those who commented on the hood its a custom cf unit designed to clear the motor and if he decided intercool. I'll try to get him on here tho.
I've only ever seen 1 other car w/ the 3800 in it. That car isn't done yet, but I can't wait to see how it looks when it is done.

With a stock motor no you don't have to have a big hood, but i guess he plans on installing some intercooler or heat exchanger that raises up the sc or something. I dunno I'll ask him.
can you give detailed info on that 3800 cavi? just kinda curious. raven is the only other one that i know of.
is that one a 5speed or auto? who did the swap? mounts? wiring, etc.

He did the swap himself, hes a truck and coach mechanic. He did all the wiring, subframe, mounts, etc himself. Its an auto from a gtp ( i told him boo he says its a tougher tranny) with an lsd. I dunno what else you wanna know like i said I'll try to get him on here.

They all look great I think! Only thing about sporting a hood like that is it better run like a bat out of hell (sure it does too!).
