sucks man, had the same thing happen to me Thursday night.. just put my stock hood back on and i came out to see the same sorta thing.. on mine I really think the guy had a creative impressive idea going but looks like he got interupted and just stopped where he was..or maybe he was jsut keying my car and tried to pissed me of.. i dunno.. only he knows... maybe.

You have full insurance on a 97 2.2. I don't even have full coverage on my 96. If anything happens it is junk anyways. LOL
Well it was only $20 a month more so y not? Would be stupid not to have it covered for an extra $250 a year.

MI. liability was like $1200 a year and full coverage was just under $1500.

from looking at the pics, some of that can be buffed out.. I know when Erin's(Bluzips) car got keyed(with her own antennea at that) I was able to buff it out.. All you can see there in the pic is gone... Your insurance will more than likely try that... I would not count your chickens before they hatch....

**UPDATE**
Insurance adjustor came out today. Well there not gonna cut me a check it has to go to the body shop. Luckaly i know the owner of one around the corner. So the whole car is getting repainted, New bumpers and side skirts are going on and all dents and dings are gettting fixed. But no shaved locks or antenna cuz its to much work for him to do for free. Also hes gonna waive my deductable so im happy. So stay tuned should be done in about 2 weeks. Gonna drop it off probably next monday.
I wouldn't sound too happy about this as it makes you sound like the one who did the keying in the first place. Not saying you did but if your insurance guy saw this I bet there'd be an investigation before a check got issued. Be careful and don't sound so happy your car was vandalized.

Haha yur not the first person to say this and like i said im not getting a check there just gonna repair and paint the panels. But i am happy cuz this got resolved quickly and AAA is an AWESOME insurance company.
