shaved my spoiler and fixed a couple dents on the top of the trunk.
also i am shaving the filler panel (licence plate, revers light)
the plate is gonna be frenchd into the rear bumper.

it was all fiberglassed then i coverd it in filler to even everything out.

looks good man did you mold it all to the trunk also? it doesnt look like it in the pics.

no i am leaving it 2 peices i dont like the look of it being molded to the trunk for some reason.
i will see when i get the rest of the car done. then i will deside if i will mold it or not but i think i will keep it how it is.

i kept the key hole only for one reason because if my remote ever dies i have no way of getting into my trunk.
my subs/amps block the way of getting in from the back seat. so i would be kinda screwd.

i do like the sunfire gt front end i kinda miss it but what can i do now i really like the look of my car how it is with the carbon hood so i am happy both ways.
i will have a big update on the car soon.

looks good but you should of welded any holes closed

i agree with all said comments about the keyhole, although you raise a good point about the remote start going out...

i guess if mine goes out ill let you know how i get my subs out!

You don't have a trunk release button inside the vehicle?

mine will be similar to that next yr, but the rear bumper wont have the frenched plate, flat across the bottom on the drivers side.

he has it in primer, so don't worry too much about the paint.

as for the keyhole...ya that would be a pita trying to open it without a keyless entry (if it failed on you)

and on some models, there is no latch in the interior to either push a button or pull a latch to release the trunk..strange i know, but i have that too. Perhaps it is because it came with a keyless entry from the factory.

ok well got some pics for you guys of the filler panel pretty close to done.
i have block sanded the panel since the pics and i must say it looks amazing.
well on with the pics.

the bumper is my next project to do. but i might shave the entire car on this weekend and get it in primer
