I remember when my shift linkage broke on the tranny. I though i blew my tranny, and i was on my way to a meeting. Just tie wraped it up and i was good to go.
here's another couple pics:
bastard just came undone. You can see the blue piece (B&M) in the first shifter pic just kind of sitting there, not attached to anything. this nut/bolt attaches it to the bottom of the shifter arm. I was relieved when I saw those two pieces lying there. All in all turned out to be a simple fix, just weird that it would over time undo itself. Loctite was on there to begin with, and used it once again so hopefully it'll do the trick this time
Damn that sux, paid for a tow for a 10 min. fix.

Not sure how the nut/bolt could come undone when using threadlock, but sure, my fault
Now I'd love to hear you explain how I screwed up the shifter install, causing the cable to break, when it was on a '99 where you dont have to mark/line up the cables like you do on the getrag...please enlighten me
