I went down to the beach with a few friends tonight and thought I would grab a scenic pic of my cavy.

Its a nice shot, just have to focus/keep the camera steady next time.

Perhaps a tripod? Larger mp resolution?

Nothing wrong with a 3megapixel camera. Get a tripod. That'll make shots in low light much better.
