I placed 10th out of 12 cars in my class so I feel pretty good considering my mods and the cars I was up against. Spencer (Strat81) was there to and I think he said he placed 6th. There were some insane cars there and it made for a good time Sunday.

Awesome! I've always hit the quater mile track and while waiting to enter I've watched the autox guys alot. It looks like hella fun. Im afraid I'll become addicted and have to buy new falken's every month. =p

I must agree, Autocross is quite enjoyable. I remember the first time I went, said I was just going to watch, but as soon as the afternoon cam around I ended up driving and placing in the top 5 out of 14 cars.
Oh and Ad1kTed 2 SpE3d, usually a set of tires will last you the better half of a season, it would last a full season where I live and I only have 7-8 events (first Sunday of each month, March-October). It also depends on how you drive, if you drive agressively then you'll wear your tires out much faster but if you are "smooth and consistant" then the tires should be good for a while. I also drove my car with my rims/tires throughout 2 seasons and they where still good. I had nankangs and i was actually amazed to be honest, lol.
Anywho, back on topic, I must agree Meckster, you did good for it being your first time. Congrats!
