Well I guess it's not really a update casue I've never posted..

Any way it's still kida mish_mash right now.. I'm getting a full Z interoir ( no more tweed bull@!#$ that came on the 2200's) so that's about haft in, The pin Stripe is stay becasue The car was in a little finder bender and they cleared over in one spot So I can't remove it. The molding are staying as well ( dont want my car 2-tone)..the mud flaps are coming off as soon as I get a chance to work on it, The car sits in my garage 5 days a week and I only really have time to work on it on sundays..AS far as plans go it's getting tint this weekend( figures crossed) , and looking into trying to get a 2.4L installed for the summer.

So yah.

yah, I guess I came off as a dick, I just did not want to hear/see posts about how the pin stripe is gay.. or something.. I mean this is JBO.

As far as the interior, my car came with this tweed like material, and after sitting in a 01'z the seats where way better and where a lot more comfortable than the ones in the car, So I've got 2 tan 01 Zthen I'm getting the door pices, (so it all matches, because the z material is different) All I have to do is find a rear z seat, and it will all be the same.

i thought all 3rd gen cavaliers had the same seats,interior ect exp the patterns and colors

i have a 98 Base and a 99 z24 the seats are the same

Looks pretty cool.

haha! that was pretty funny. flame wars are pretty common tho. car is well on its way man keep it up, look into the 03+ door moldings they look a little better than the plain ones. i think they changed the seat material in 00+ z and ls sports to a more plush softer stuff, my 02 has it and its way nicer than what the 97 originally had. love the color by the way

it seems like the car is dropped (if it is, i commend you for that) and the rims look good as well. I wouldnt mind having a J with that color because i seen other cars with that color and they make it look good.

Uh, No.

Base models = Tweed with Vinyl backs

Z24 = full cloth seats, much more comphy.


I did see some 95's with what looked to be a "Z" interior.
