I'd like to see this kit modded - like so...
Sunday, January 08, 2006 7:02 PM
I used CarbonCav04's pics as a reference (hosted them myself, too ). I'd like to see this bumper kit without the front lip on it...it just looks wrong to me. SO I photoshopped it badly to get an idea and I think it's moddable (is that a word?).

Anyways, thoughts? Anyone brave enough to do it and prove me right?

Here are the photoshopped images:

And here are some reference images:

Personally, I think that without the lip the kit would look much cleaner

nah, i dont like it, doesnt flow with the kit at all now, would look good with the ls spot sides and rear bumper maybe since you are really killing how wild the bumper is by takin the lip away

the rest of the kit is lipped... removing it would remove the flow of the kit...

that kit would look sick, if the lip was a bit smaller... like instead of the 3 feet it sticks out, if it were to stick out maybe an inch, that wold be sexy

it looks bad on 03+ tho

Well, I should have said I'd go with the LS side and rear, those are the only ones I know of that would flow with the front.

Excuse my choice of word, "Lip" is the best thing that came to mind to describe it, I knew it was part of the bumper. I love the cuts on the bumper, but that bottom part just kills me!

Actually, the kit looks kinda decent with a smaller lip on it...not too bad Larry!

I definately like it better with the smaller lip. I just don't like the huge snowplow that looks like it'll cut off someones ankles if you hit someone.
