New speakers in doors. My

LoL nothing like a lot of you guys have, but its serving as a platform for the speakers to get pushed out away and turned towards the passengers when I redo the doors. I have Pioneer 6 1/2 4-ways. Again, they are compents, but I dont want to spend 200+ before I go on a cruise next week. I need to thank Crystal(CrazyCavGirl) OR Jacob for the help on getting the cranks off! You helped me get angry enough at the handles so they gave up and popped off.

My lovely work bench, thats custom too!

The MDF cut to spec. to fill the stock speaker hole. Check that hack job. They are dished from using a disk grinder, and not my intention, but the speaker frame rests perfectly against the dished sides in the hole, no sliding.

The test fit

Back in business. Don't mind those scuff marks, those are all going bye bye.

And my Alpine Type-R 12s. The 1000watt Kenwood mono amp is on the back, and all the wiring is back there, nice and clean!

I want spring so bad ... Thanks for the comments guys!

Hey...glad to see that Jacob could help ya get angry...he does that to me sometimes, too. Hey, btw, someone told me that you had the KMax rear, too....I've got it and we're working on it over the winter. You like it?

Yeah I love it, pretty low though, with my Pro-kit springs, I scrap speedbumps once in a while with it.

That's kinda what I was worried about...I am replacing my BC2 rear with this one cause it's too low (I drag it over speed bumps a lot). I bought it even tho I hadn't been able to find any pics of it installed. Oh, well, we'll kind a way to make it work.

No worries Scott, in a month or so I'm redo'ing all 4 door panels, and will bring the speakers out, and point them towards the passengers, this is strickly temporary.

Crystal/Jacob, check my Photobucket pages for pics of the rear on my car. That should give you an idea of what to expect with your's, unless you're slammed.
