Well I am really excited, befor I bought my 98 Z24 vert I was looking for a Convertible 5 speed 1988-1991 Cavalier. I have always loved the Z kits on them and think they are better than any body kit. Two years ago my Grandfather gave me his 1993 Cavalier VL coupe, with only 60K on it. I drove it for two winter and for my birthday my parents asked what I wanted and I said a Z kit. So I started calling up the local yards and found 2 Zs. After 4 hours of pulling the kit off in rain and mud I got it all, front, rear, sides, door moldings, and hood. The best part is that it only cost me 100$ for everything. The car will be painted orange matallic with the stock silver ground effect color. Anyways onto the pics...
Dont mind the blue door, the old one rotted out so bad the mechanisms all froze, had to get a new one.
One of the Z24 Vert as it sits with a spun bearing, will be fixed next week
.
Have to thank my parents for an awesome birthday gift that I can use every day.

Now Blazing: Black Domina
You must not get that much snow to be painting a winter beater... Up here it woudl be the biggest waste of a paint job

Thats pretty sweet chris. I live in Rochester as well. I go to RIT. Small world
Cool your in Roc too? Have you ever seen me or my car? Where abouts do you live, I am in Irondequoit.
As for the paint job, I am doing it all myself and materials will only cost me like 150$ so whatever. Just keep some wax on it and shouldnt be that bad. I want to learn to paint better so gotta practice on something right?

Looks good! But pick up a Z24 grille while you're at it!
I actually live on RIT campus in an apartment...University Commons. I've never seen your car around, but nice to have some ROC people on the board
