I think hes atempting to say he raced this car while having a 75 shot and not a turbo. And that he removed the rear wheels and put stockers on to get traction off the line cause the Xez kit has the window switch so it sprays at 4500 rpm.
Except leaving the bigger heavier wheels on the drive wheels the car has to fight more mass to get them moving thus making the car slower
video is horrible. I just dont get it. The golf 1.8T stock is 170 horse with about 180ft lbs of torque. The standard 2.0 engine is 150 horse. Try racing something with more punch like an R32 with 240 horse and win, then I'll be happy for you.
Depending on year, the 1.8T could either be 150hp or 180hp. The 2.0 is 115hp and 120tq.

The 2.0 is only 200 horse with the turbo in the jetta or the passat.
These are 2005 specs.
1.8T Beetle 170hp
2.0 Beetle 150hp
1.8T Golf GTI 180hp
2.0 Golf 115hp
2.0T Jetta GTI 200hp
2.5 Jetta 150hp w/in line 5 cylinder engine
Passat ratings same as Jetta.
I have looked at these number everyday at work trying to sell these cars. dont think many of them would be off.
