Frankencav Project - Progress (56k not good)
Saturday, June 25, 2005 2:19 AM
Well, I'm about a week behind schedule on this, but they've put us on 12 hour shifts. So, this progress is still decent considering how much free time I don't have right now.

Here's the new front clip welded to the car:

Rear Quarter is pulled and ready for body filler and paint:

Inside of the fenders painted to match engine compartment:

Underhood painted to match engine compartment as well:

Fender mounted... somewhat (aftermarket fenders need some work to get to line up right):

Front clip painted (yes I know there's overspray on the engine... call it "customization" if you will

The whole engine compartment.. you like that custom detail on the engine?

And here we see the fenders and hood mounted and fitted properly

When I can find a decent 2.4 I'll be rebuilding it with some better parts (crank, rods, pistons, cams) and getting some headwork done... but until then, I'm stuck with the red-tinted 2200 >:|

I actually have a 2.4 that appears to have been rebuilt or something... it's on a crate at my friend's garage right now...

Yeah that's awesome and all... but your profile is showing you in York, PA... I'm in Kansas. Shipping would kill any deal I could get on it, I've rebuilt quite a few engines (although SBC 350's) so it isn't something new to me. I appreciate it anyways
