Well, we had a show here in Parkersburg today.
Matt Conard came down from Morgantown, Chad Hannan from Parkersburg, and a local named Mike were there. I was too, but didn't enter.
Matt's is the Red and White 01...Big Mouth front, Avenger sides, and Combat rear. Chad's is the Red 97 w/00 headlight conversion...Type J full kit. Mike's is the Blue one (I think it's a 97)...FX front, can't remember the sides, and Bomex rear. Later on at the end of the show I pulled up there with them. Mine is the Black 97 with Combat front and sides and BC2 rear.
Here are the pics from today.
Matt's new flip screen. That thing has a great picture on it, and the specks you see on it are dust specks that seemed to collect no matter how much it was wiped off.
SS on display. I swear I had wood all day because of this car. Matt and Chad didn't appreciate that too much. LOL
And the one that I thought should have won Best of Show.......
Congratulations to Matt and Chad for placing in the show. They both won plaques (they didn't give trophies, but plaques instead), however, they don't say what place they won. Hmmph.
Thanks to Matt and Sarah for taking the time out to come visit us and hang out for the day, and thanks to Chad and his dad, Ron for coming to join us too. Tabasco stopped by for a little while, but the sun was too much for him, so he had to go home and watch dirty movies.
We also installed Matt's upper and lower RK mounts while we were there. LOL You should have seen the people looking at us while we were working on the car during the show.
We had a blast today, and hopefully we can do it again before the show season is over. We're already planning on a show above Morgantown, just gotta find out the exact date of it. We'll let everyone know, and if anyone else wants to join us next time, we'd love to have you.
Good Pic Frank had a blast and sunburnt as hell but all in all good day. Nice to meet chad and his dad ron really nice people. As with hanging out with sarah and gaby..
Can't wait till the show up here in morgantown....

I thought I had written "Big Pics" in the subject, but I guess it's just the heat that got to me.

1989 Turbo Trans Am #82, 2007 Cobalt SS G85
ya the red one needs to get some fitment issues resolves with the fromt bumper....the red and white one was good...the blue one needs to rethink what hes doin
im pretty sure the fitment issues on both are pretty well pictured so there was really no need to point them out. and as far as rethinking what he's doing...last time i checked..its his car
pics look good frank. sorry i couldnt stay there all day, but the heat was getting to me and i had to go home and watch dirty movies
and to those of you who think that there are fitment issues on the red and blue cars, look at the pics from the side. everything fits nicely. its just with the pics from the ground that it looks like there is anything wrong. the blue car's hood is popped in some pics so thats why there looks like a gap.
but all three of those cars are done really well. the blue one is completely done, all tweed interior, nitrious setup, etc. ive known him longer than the rest and he knows his stuff. cant say im a fan of his front bumper, but the car is done nicely. btw...those sides are from a civic. matts car is very nice. i love the quad bucket racing seats. (should have gotten a pic of that, frank!). and chads car has nice painted accents on the inside.
and i LOVE this picture!!!!! its matt's "super player pose"!!!!! it looks like hes going to @!#$ some @!#$ up with that can of spray! ROFL i am sooooo gonna chop and shop this pic up ROFL

^ Yeah I'm not sure I like the front on the blue cav, but it's not like my opinion matters to him. I just think it's slightly to busy, and the lines make it look like the car is squinting like some kid with Down Syndrome. <- If that offended anyone, sorry, but I've got a relative who has Down Syndrome, so it doesn't offend me.
Great to see some cavs win something at a show like this. Didn't get to enter mine though, but I'm sure no one missed it cause its not half as nice as any of the other three that were there. And on the fitment for the front bumpers...I have yet to see one the fits perfectly unless you do some modifications and most people don't want to take the time to mess with it.
not bad, not bad at all
I'm gonna have to make it to one of the WV meets sometime I think...especially since i'm not gonna make it to the bash this year...b/c as I recall you said you were gonna get me drunk and put some wildcat junk on me....I'll def. be drunk, we'll have to see bout that UK stuff though
Looks like a good time was had though, cars all look great
