Well first off, I already made a post when I first had pictures of the cavy at the towing shop, so mods please don't move this to Jacked/Wrecked. Technically this is me working on the car.
The insurance company called today and told me that the car would indeed be written off. After driving home from picking my brother up from school, I went to the shop and started to tear out the stereo, rims, suspension and short shifter.
Unfortunately, I couldn't retrieve my front suspension because it was damaged and I had no replacements for stock.
To (The Other Matt), I wasn't allowed to keep the door panels for you. I appologize. The car is off to the auction tomorrow.
I still haven't found out what I am doing with my parts I currently was able to save. I have 18" Enkei RSV with Yokohoma AVS ES100 225/40/18, a full ALPINE TYPE R stereo, B&M Shifter, Koni Yellows w/ Ground Controls for the rear only.
When I find out what is happening, I will more than likely sell stuff. Just don't ask now, NO POINT.

New radiator support, rad, fan, bumper cover etc and windshield. Why did they total it out? I see a good car. Id buy it back for NOTHING and fix it and sell it and make more money. lol

Said there was 7300 dollars CANADIAN damage.
It needed new exhaust, starter, air bags.

I don't want to buy it back. I took everything I need from it (minus the front suspension).

Second of all.....you have any future plans for those enkei's? what kind of shape are those rims and tires in? I could be interested for a fair price.

yeah that doesnt look all that bad really. my cav hardly looked like a cav after i got hit. but since the value of the cars is soo little i can see why its still considered totalled. good luck with whatever you get next... personally, i dont think you should buy another J. this is a good opportunity to move on to bigger and better things. if i could go back to when i wrecked my white Z24, i wouldnt have gone out and bought my current cav. i like my cav... but its not a spectacular car... find something better.
I called dibs on the stereo...
matty, if you want to keep the car, ill give you my air bags, they will be gone soon enough anyways....
