Out with the old in with the new
Sunday, April 24, 2005 9:21 AM
well all I had to do it. The 92 Cavalier is now done! I had to upgrade to a new ride. Tell me what you think it's a 2001 with the 2200 and auto.

old n busted hotness

the new whip

I also thought it was pretty cool cause me and my girlfriend both got new cars the same week so it's cool. Her car is the red 02 Focus LX it's a clean car. Deff have some plans for that as well as my cav.

Not plannin on kitting. I wanna do spring lowering springs on it. put dual exhaust out the back. Tint it out, SS style ram air hood, 02 LS Sport spoiler,Header,CAI,TB spacer, Cross drilled rotors, and one heck of a sound system. I was thinkin altezza tails but dont know wether I want to go with black, carbon fiber or chrome. Also clear corners someday.

I know I make fun of it myself but I just had to say it thanks though lol. I kinda like the pin stripe though cause it takes away from some of that blue. ya know. But thanks for the opinions.

havent you ever seen Unique Whips, at the beginning it states the definitions for Whip:

Whip:

def. 1 : a length of rope, or a thin strip of leather attached to a handle, used to strike people or animals

def. 2 : a car or truck that has been customized to fit the owners personal taste

def. 3 : a badass ride

$5.95 at autozone will get you a sticker removal kit (Goo Gone and a plastic spoon), Use that and a hair dryer to elimate that pin striping.

$28.99 at Procarparts.com, get yourself some clear corner lights.

Props for a fellow midnight blue cav owner. You should DEFINATELY chrome this ride out. Chrome looks better than any color concieved by man with this dark blue, trust me. Get the chrome alezzeta tails, clear corners, and lower it. What you've done so far looks great, nice job!

Btw, is your muffler just a hack and weld job, or have you actually installed a cat-back exhaust system?

I'm sorry for double posting, but you also need to shave the emblems and side moldings. :-)

Larry,
Pics look good. Glad to see you are keeping the pin stripping and the body side molding. Like the dual tipped chrome exhaust. one question about the muffler, does it sound like a bunch of 'bumble bees' like I hear from so many foreign mod cars? Where and what brand is the muffler?
My thing is I like to keep the outside looking stock and do mods to the engine. Fools alot of people who think all you have is stock.

It is a off brand I think a 3A racing but I get a whole bunch of compliments. it sounds really good slight rumble at idle and no raspyness what so ever. I am very impressed with it. Sounded like crap on my 92 Cav though. I think I am just gonna keep it on there. What do you mean keep the rear wheels from falling off?
