Power Lock Conversion

Whats everyone think of this? I really didnt care about having power locks or windows but now gotta get both cause the door panels Im getting are already custom and came from a pw and pl car

Those are the same actuators we use in our shop, quality stuff but make sure you line them up right or they will burn out in time.

those look like the actuators i got in my car to, no problems so far, I'd recommend the spal power window kit if your doing that to, worked great so far for me.

I would agree with Gary,The Spal power window kit is one of the best kits out there..The power door locks look the same as What I used in the shop I worked in,They work well but as stated just make sure the have good free move ment,or they will burn out..

as long as your car is a 2 door, this is a very easy process, as there is plenty of room inside the door to work with. 4 doors are not so easy, I couldnt find places to mount mine without modifying the doors.

Possibly a silly question, but with that kit could I use my current keyless entry remote thats with my alarm system instead of the one they include?

You can certainly. But you'd need to wire up a relay pack to control them.



The lock(-) unlock(-) come from the brain of your alarm

btw you'd only need to make one of those. Then just split the purple wires to run as many actuators as you wish.
