Hey yall, quick question. I searched and saw at least one person who has removed the needles to do LEDs on a 00+ gauge cluster. Does anyone have a step-by step or more detailed walk-through of how to do this without breaking the cluster? The thread I saw was pretty vague. Thanx in advance for any help
its not recommended to do on the 00+ clusters as they are very easy to break. did you check out the led cluster thread? doesnt look like you need to remove your needles at all to change the color of the cluster
No you have to take the needles off or cut around the outside, then soldier the led back in.or if you want Red just buy a Sun fire cluster.
I will just order a new cluster from BlackCatCustoms.
I love my red LED 140 Cluster I got from him. He does the best work for our cars period.
I looked through the LED thread and it seems as though a few people may be looking into how it can be done. I will be tryin to get out to the local junkyards and hopefully come across a sunfire cluster or a new cavalier one. Mine has a dark area near the fuel gauge and the odometer light has been out for a few weeks. Thanks yall hopefully a solution to the 00+ needles will pop up
