i just bought a set of seat belts, came out of an 05 cavalier. pulled them outta the box and noticed something ive never seen on a set of j-body seat belts...
the top portions where they bolt into the 1/4 window area have small buttons on the sides, one for each belt. now, this is something ive seen before on newer GM vehicles, but i had no idea they had this option for the j-bodys. they are used in conjunction with a slide built into the panel so you can adjust were the belt sits on your shoulder.
ive talked to several 03-05 owners and NONE of them have these 'buttons' on the side for adjustment sliding...
so, wtf do i have? i got them from SCHRAM auto on ebay, and as we all should assume, these guys usually dont get a damn thing wrong, theyve sold how many parts off the rare turbo sport cars etc etc etc?
next thing... could these possibly have came FROM one of the gm concept cars and were an added option among all the rest?
Riddle me this... riddle me that...
just ran the VIN# off of them at a gm dealership, they came out of a sedan. they guy i talked to said they wont work in a coupe....
gay!
and i just went out and confirmed it, you cannot remove the top bolt and the threads are too small to bolt it in.
real gay.

See if they'll accept them back and refund you your money. I doubt they will, but it's worth a shot. Maybe put them back on eBay to sell to someone else to recoup some of your money?
The slider ones are definately from a sedan. No question.
well the ad says they will refund up to 30 days, but i have to cover shipping which sucks, but oh well.
