i want to take my wiper and blinker switches off the steering coloum and put them into the dasg as on/off switches. has anyone attempted this and what do you think of the idea. so on the dash there would be a switch for the lights, one for the wipers and one for the blinkers, ( i was thinking about getting a steering wheel with nos buttons and wiring them up for the blinkers..

too much work for what it gets you, will make driving harder and possibly unsafe at moments- i say thumbs down to the idea

i dont think any of these would work for the fact the headlights you would have an on and off switch but what about high beams? how would you turn those on?

blinkers i could see but it would be a pain in the ass to push a button everytime. i dont mind flicking the lever.

wipers would be like the headlights, you could turn them on and off but what about if you want to make them faster or slower?

to me it seems like a lot of work for something that is already simple enough.
