JUST PUT IN NEW DASH!!!!!¿ STEERING WHEEL!¿

Ok, Went on to the FAQ. Took the whole dash out. Air bags. Steering Wheel. Vents, the Whole deal. Putting it back together was easier....

Until you find out that your steering wheel isn't centered and looks like it's got down syndrome and your new dash rattles like a snake. I've located where the dash rattles and it's at the one screw near the bottom of the ash tray... maybe I just need to Tighten it? Any suggestions for best Steering wheel line up?!?!

*********also is there a residual charge in the air bags?*********

take your wheels and point them straight ahead, make an alignment mark on the steering column and then look at your steering wheel and try and align it up. if you ever does this again just point the wheels straight ahead and lock the steering wheel and then make alignment marks before you use a steering wheel puller.

hey didnt see your question for the air bag, before ever working on a air bag system disconnect the battery and pull air bag fuses, and allow the air bag system to discharge the capacitor for 5-10 minutes and when you take air bag out always point it away from you and lay it facing up on a workbench
