When the last gauge I ordered shows up... I'm going to install my A-pillar gauge pod with the gauges in it... I was looking at the A-pillar cover trying to see how it comes off and I don't see any screws or anything.... I pulled on it a little and it didn't even move. I did this on my 93 and there where screws in it... but the 97 I have now just looks to be held in there by magic. How the hell does this thing come off?
Just pull on it. Iy does take a bit of force, they are held on by metal clips that "click" into the actual A pillar structure.

Give it a yank, but pull it straight off, and not to the side, so you dont dammage the clips or the pillar.
Wouldnt recommend doing it in cold weather either (not sure you still have cold weather where you're at)
A bit of advice I learned, slide a flat head screw driver in from the top(where the ceiling begins) and pull down slightly till you can get your fingers under it, pull slightly towards the inside of the car when you do it.
There are 3 metal clips holding it to the frame, all located on the upper half where it connects to the frame.
Also, I'd recomend removing the a-pillar before you remove the lower half, there is a very small plastic lip that holds them together,
And it often breaks if you don't remove the a-pillar first.
I have to remove them later today, if you'd like some pics just let me know.

Thanks everyone... I got both gauges in the pod and I'm about to head out and get all the wiring I need (auto meter doesn't come with any wires at all).
Hopefully I get everything installed and working today..... I'll take pics and post them.
They are Auto meter pro comp ultra light gauges with brushed aluminum faces, and my stock gauge cluster is still black for now.... but I think the silver will compliment the rest of the silver stuff inside the car.... I guess I'll find out.
Red LED's, brushed aluminum bezel, and paint the factory needles to match-
Made me love the setup.
damn miniature goat people.
