Does anybody have these gauges? If so, any pics or comments about them?
No problems with them after about 6 months of operation. The illumination controls are a bit confusing (to me), but everything has worked fine. They allow independent control of the backlight and the outer "halo" ring. There is also a microphone included in this model with adjustable sound-activated lighting. Visibility is excellent, even in daylight. The actuators can be a tad noisy if you're paying attention to them. One little nitpick is that since I have them wired into my wiper circuit for ignition power, and I get a little static squelch noise whenever my wiper delay kicks on (which seems to cause a transient that is heard though the gauge "warning" beeper).
I also had my oil pressure gauge take on a mind of its own for a couple of days, but I'm pretty sure that was because I soaked the sending unit after puddle running.
I can't say I have any serious case against them. I'm quite pleased.

It plugs into the back of the gauge. I've got mine just lying loose behind them inside the gauge pod. They work with the gauge to operate the sound-sensitive lighting feature. This is an optional mode where the gauge lights up in response to sound/music. The feature works quite well, and is adjustable for sensitivity.

remember like when you bought your first neons for under the dash and they had the little switch and knob so you can make it solid light up or have the neons light with the music i like to call em boom bars. but pretty much the same thing from what it sounds like
Is there 2 kinds of swoosh gauges? Sound active and just a normal one?
Do they have a warning beep and a start up beep?
They look really nice and clean!!
I believe "Swoosh" is an Asian supplier that makes more than a few different styles of gauges. Mine are just one style that happened to be on Ebay and suited the look I wanted.
The beeping only occurs when the gauge hits a warning range, or loses signal from a sending unit altogether. There is no start-up beep, but they do have a matching "ceremony" at start up where they sweep through the full range, and then step left and right in increasingly large sweeps before finally starting normal operation. Kind of neat, but kind of annoying too. They also stay on for a few seconds during shut-off, momentarily moving to the highest reading recorded during that session and flashing.
