Best way to mount subs in a convertible

Idk if this should be in electronics, but since it deals with placement i thought this is the right forum.....so i currently have my subs and a normal box with the amp mounted on top, but i want to do something more, but kinda of lost on ideas because it is a convertible, and im limited on space, because needing room for the top when it goes down.....i would like to keep my 2 10s and the same box, just a new idea for the amp rack, or some pictures of others setups???

bty: its a 91 sunbird

not sure how the 2nd gens are set up, but on the 3rd gens the trunks are the same shape, just smaller openings and lower ceiling. if yours is like that then you should be able to do a setup just like in anything else...just gotta watch the height and width.

my top sits in a little "dish" so it doesnt sink into the trunk or anything like that. not idea how the 2nd gens are though. best bet would be to drop your top and measure. subract a few inches to be on the safe side, and go from there.

or you could always make a custom box that sits in your spare tire well or something like that. but that might be more hassle than you want, plus youd be sans spare tire.
