I am currently located in halifax, Nova Scotia i was just wondering if anybody know where abouts i can get a new hearliner for my 01 sunfire, the thing is so dirty and cleaning just does not do it anymore, also if you have any ideas for a different way to cover it up let me know. Thanks In Advance

well the first thing you need to address is the fact that the headliner is getting very dirty... it really shouldn't be getting so dirty that you cannot clean it.....so whatever is happening thats getting it that dirty to need to try and solve first otherwise getting a new one is going to be pretty pointless.

as for getting a new or new to you one theres really only 2 ways to do it, find yourself a gm dealership (do they even have them there? if not then i guess this option wont work unless you drive to somewhere that does) or find a junkyard willing to ship one, a lot wont so be aware of this.

Wanting a nice set of black 17's with mint tires? Pm me.

???

Not trying to be a douche but.......

Halifax being the larget city in the atlantic provinces ( New Brunswick , Nova Scotia , Prince Edward Island , Newfoundland / Labrador ).
I would definatly think that atleast one GM dealership would call HRM home...

to the op, like z yaaaa said try looking at a dealership aroung halifax, ie Carrol or Macphee....if they dont have them in stock ,them maybe look around a few wreckers,
i know theres some decent ones around truro...maritime auto salvage , Vance Haynes , Blenkhorns(sp?).

You can always recover it! But it is odd that your headliner is getting dirty all the time.

try a carpet steam cleaner.... when I got my gt the previous owner must have smoked a ton in the vehicle... the head liner looked nasty...I thought i would definitely need to replace it... it had turned a ugly brownish color... i used a steam cleaner and it came out really nice.... as for z yaa's comments..... if GM had no dealerships in canada how else would you think canadians got gm vehicles???? most small towns in Canada have GM dealerships
