I'm in the process of switching my interior lights to LEDs(mostly the WLED-x5's) and I'm stuck on the ashtray light. I can see it comes through a small hole in the back of the tray itself but I've looked and felt around and just can't find the bulb. Could someone please tell me how to get to it and what # bulb it is?
That sort of leads me to my second problem, I've read that the ash tray just pulls out. I've pulled it every which way I could but it doesn't want to come out. What am I missing as far as taking the ashtray out?
Any help would be appreciated
hahaha it's so hard to get out, i hide some stuff in there

Yeah, the one under the radio. I can't see the bulb, but a small rectangle in the back of the tray lets in enough light to illuminate the whole tray so I'm assuming there is a bulb somewhere for it. The ashtray doesn't look different from those I've seen in junkyards but it does not want to come out.
I'm pulling on it straight out with the snuff plate down and the whole tray down. Is that the right way to do it or am I still missing something lol.
I'm still trying but just about every way I try, it feels like I'm pulling out the whole dash.
at not being able to figure this out lol
Still pulling
lol
For those of you that have taken your ashtray out, please explain the procedure or, even better, tell me what I'm doing wrong.
