stupid question are the shifters diff between a 2200 and 2.4? just curious or was it the same tranny?

not sure yet i know atleast on the 03-05s they have a reverse stopper that lifts into the knob to go in reverse so u dont accidentally shift into reverse thinking it got 6 speeds(blondes lol)
