does anyone have screens fiberglassed into their door panels...if so can i see pics of them? thanks
ive seen them in other cars and on pimp my ride yet i cant fig why this would be done they are useless other than show.just askn whats with this idea very curious.
I'm not sure if this is the standard way of doing it but I could see them being somewhat more useful if they were installed sideways or something with scissor doors so that when that doors were open they could be watched normally at near eye level.

yup, that is how I did my tv's in my doors.
I did these about 2 years ago now.
The TV is on an angle, so when the door is opened fully, it sits flush and eye level, when closed the TV is on an angle. Doesn't serve any other purpose other than for shows.
nice thats exactly what my plan was... thanks man with the vertical doors up they'll be normal viewign level i was thinkin about putting mine at the top of the door panel tho im nto sure wiht clearance yet.. i have 7 inch screens for them.. any suggestions big poppa?
oh and my other question is how di du get it flush looking? did you have to cut into the door panel or just make a frame out of like mdf.,..put fleece over it then fiberglassed it? i was gonan use my head rest brackets and put the fleece around that and then fiberglass it..
you should get tv "shrouds" with the tv's....cut a section to fit, and mount it flush
ok u mean like the head rest brackets?? not sure how im gonna cut intot he door panel tho...any ideas?

OR a jigsaw. Since it's a square I'd go with the Dremel. They make good squares.
not to sound like an ahole but if you have to ask so many ?'s maybe you shouldnt be tattempting this just yet

x2. i mean we're talking about a plastic door panel.....no offense, but this isnt rocket science. get a dremel with a cut off disc and go to town. measure, mark, and cut. 10 minutes and youre done.
i kno joey nothing was meant towards u that was cuase of what yellow22 said... i appreciate the help and im gonna get a dremel and go to town then.. thats all i wanted...
