Can you use Rustoleum paint on interior?

I KNOW, probly a stupid question so I'm prepared for any ragging.

Can you use Rustoleum paint on plastic and vinyl interior pieces? My girlfriend drives a metallic navy blue Sunfire so obviously i'm not gonna find specific color matching Krylon Fusion or interior paint that color. But I was in Walmart the other day and I saw Rustoleum that was a pretty damn close match. Anybody try this?

Dupli Color makes a color for a different make that is closer that I would think you should use instead. Make sure to use high build primer with many layers to get it nice and smooth.

Your not supposed to paint vinyl as many people have run into issues with buildup, peeling, etc. As for plastic, I don't think it really matters what you use, as long as you properly prep the surfaces via sanding, primers, etc. I used Duplicolor "Metalcast" for my bezel, glove box, etc and prepped it perfect and it came out looking like fiberglass damn near. So it all depends on how much time you are willing to put into prepping and what not.

go to a painshop and get the exact same paint as your exterior and then u know it will match perfectly. as for the vinyl i prefer a vynal dye.
