Okay i am going to be glassing my armrest in my 03 cavalier, and I was just curious about the step process.
I know you tear the vynal off and then drill holes in it so the fiberglass sticks on both sides, then wrap w/fleece , brush on the fiberglass, sand smooth then bondo. Am I missing any steps ? please help.

just remeber the less bondo the better, the more you have on the more it will likely crack.

So you drill hols
wrap with fleece and glue/staple down

then stab the death the fleece with resin
then lay ontop of that fiberglass MATT
and then stab to death that with resin

you can do that liek 2-3 times in one sitting

then sand forever

I'm pretty sure you dont need to use fleece on your armrest you already have your shape

i was just going to use it because it soaks up the fiberglass really good.

for the armest, just cover the holes in the top i think there were 6 with a bit of filler, sand and paint, no need to fiberglass that piece.
