the plastic piece behind the steering wheel that surrounds the turn signal and hazards is what im talking bout, mine is rattling like crazy and if i put minimal pressure on the top part it stops. i know someone must have this problem or had it and am looking for other ideas as to make it stop

I did not have the exact same problem, my problem was that when you gripped the wheel, it moved up and down. What I had to do was take the stearing column apart and tighten up the screws inside.

gotot he dolalr store and get some kids play foam. Its about 1/16 inch think and comes in all colours.

Split the colum pieces apart and then shim a few pieces in there. It worked for me.
