best place to buy leather
Saturday, July 15, 2006 4:19 PM
I want to use leather to wrap my speaker boxes and amp racks and stuff with. Where is the best place to buy it from? I saw on ebay for 100 bucks for a whole black hide. that seems very very cheap for anything good.

I see on some sites they can sell for 400 bucks for a hide.

Anyone have suggestions?

thanks

if the normal price is 400 and someone has it for 100 i'd question it. its problaby not a good hide probalby imperfections, scratches tears whatever.

Just remember for wrapping a speaker box, you dont need expensive nor super high quality @!#$. If its in your trunk your gunna have alot less exposeure to sun light and it doesnt have to be comfortable.

yes ^ but you also want something of good quality so that if you plan to still have trunk space, nothing will punture the leather while you are driving around.

Um it doesnt matter how good of a quality it is, if something sharp hits it, its going to puncture.

He just doesnt need a high quality leather. No If's And's or But's about it.

need and want are two diffrent things. people dont need three tv's in their trunk but allot do. some people prefer a quality product.
