My window switch is broken and my driver side window will not go down. The contact on the switch for the window to go down broke. Has anyone had this problem or has anyone made their own switch for the window. Im at a loss. OR does a switch from 00 and up models work for my 97
The switches interchange, i swapped a 2001 Cavalier Z24 console into my 98 Z and used the newer style switch and trim piece. The plugged right in with no problems.
so is there any diffrence between the z24 and the base model or they still they same
That is exactly what he just said. Interchangable means that they will work with your car.

IT MIGHT NOT WORK ...sorry to bust some bubbles but i JUST tried to fit an 2000+ cav window switch in my 95..wont work..itll fit the harness but the pins are differnt and nothing will work when you hook it up...which reminds me..anyone want a 2000+ window switch ?

any chance you got a 2 switch bezel that pops out of the center console?
