i like it
but for show i would recommend the box facing the cabin
oh yea..it definetly looks better with the subs facing forward..but sounds better backward
the thing is i want to build something custom to acutally put in that opening so you dont even see the subs...but still a work in progress i guess
that amp get any air? it looks okay but as said the opening between the cabin and trunk really kills the look of it. if you point the subs forward and then compleltly seal up between the cabin and the interior your sound will improve allot. if u leave it facing back maybe put your amp for your mids and highs. and if u dont have an amp for them get one

yup it gets air
..you cant see it but the front part of the diamond plate box is completly open..but you cant tell at all from any angle you look at ...i was THINKING about putting one of those small pc fans in there just to circulate some air..but anyway...yea the opening really needs something maybe ill have something made this week for it..but glad you guys liked the amp encloser
i was worried it would come off a bit "ricey"
oh..and guess i shoulda mentioned that its a 4 way amp..so 2 channels to the subs and the other 2 go to my qlogic kick panel components..so it does sound sooo much better than the crappy stock speakers..and i have all you guys here to thank for it !
how about filling it in with plexi, spray paint it black on one side, then put some blue leds in it or etch some logo or something and throw some neons in the trunk. might turn out prety sick, Not really sure how it would work, just had the idea...
