does anyone know how to remove the red sticky stuff on the back of the HVAC display panel (01 Sunfire)? i want my blue LEDs to shine throw so you can see the icons, but the blue doesn't shine through the red paint stuff. i've tried picking at it but all it seems to do is ruin the HVAC panel.
anyone know how to successfully remove this crap?
Swap in a Cavalier HVAC with regularclear/white lights and no Red Crap...then do the blue light switch.

try useing fingernail polish remover...( non-asitone)...that is wat i used on my shifter paneel...(auto)04 sunfire
be careful tho
if your talking about the goop stuff that filters the light remember that if you accidnetly take off anything but the coloured stuff you will have light shining thru where it shudnt
