Ok to make a long story short I have shaved doors and lets just say I couldn't get in so I went through the trunk and booted the @!#$ out of the back seat. I got in
but now after fixing the back seat the lever is not the way its supposed to be. I was wondering if anyone could take pics of the back seat with the cover off so I can see what the lever looks like before being booted
Thanx guys
PS I would need a pic with the grey cover off of the lever as well.
id say more lack of thought
shoulda left yourself a 2nd way in
not sure if ill be able to do pics before some one else , but you need a pic of the seat or the actual latch ?
another suggestion would be local junk yard , get another latch
the seat with the entire cover off and then there is a cover over the latch thats on the back seat.like under all the paddin
did your battery die if so i would say you need some external terminals
2003 Sunfire 2.2L Ecotec
5 speed,K&N Filter,Stainless Free Flow Muffler,2" Lowering Springs,17" Wheels.
good luck! when my car was broken into they ripped the seat outta the latch and its never been the same since.
and the trunk does seem like a 2nd way in

lol
im glad i have never went through the trunk and i wish i would have seen this earlier
i just had my intire interior ripped out and alll over the floor about an hour ago and i would have gladly taken pics srry
and good luck with fixin it
someones interior has got to be apart
i just hope you didnt bend the really thin metal rear decklid!! if you did, have fun re-welding a new one in.... other than that, get yourself a rivet gun and hit up a junkyard for all new latch hardware.

thats the thing... the latch looks perfectly fine its the panel itself that looks a little outta wack. What it does is when I pull the release button the part on the latch that moves catches at the top. I got it working but I know its not 100% right which is why I wanna see one that hasn't been beaten to death
anyone by chance got there seat apart?
I guess running a pull cord from the pass -side door lock into the fender behind the plastic splash guard would be too eazy ..You shaved the door handles and door locks but left the trunk lock? If no one has a pic try a haynes manual there's lots of pics in there

i cud take some pics for you but mine is an 03 so the latch is different im fairly surel
let me know if youd still like them
let me know what exactly you want the pics of
what I need pics of is the back seat with the cover right off so I can see how the shape of the metal is and how the latch thats attatched to it sits.
james, i hope thats not you sig.
that gives me a little bit of an idea but its really hard to tell with the carpet still on. But thanx for tryin
I'll post some pics of mine tonight since it is apart and then maybe you guys can tell me what I got fix.
El Fuego if you can by chance get pics with your cover off that would be great too. The one of the clip thats attatched to the car I need a pic showin where it sits when its level.
it hits right at the top in the middle I smashed it up higher so it clears but once i put that plastic cover on the latch hits that. I really can't tell what its supposed to look like. Still waiting on pics from someone
LMR:
and James' sig is in the process of getting fixed
